Feb. 18th, 2013 09:03 pmRomeo/Rowe : Infected. Physical age early 20's. Actual age, in his 150's. Bite scar location on the join of his neck and shoulder. Sort of an outcast/rebel. Spends most of his time at the bar/club one of his few friends works at. Hates Purebloods, and has no respect for the Infected that work for them. He's snarky and sarcastic, but very sincere deep down. He doesn't go back on his word, and he always repays his debts. Though the latter being more because he can't stand being in debt to someone and feels he has to pay them back before he can relax. Rather low on the "food chain" but he makes do, even with the restrictions on blood rations becoming more and more difficult. Even if he has a hard time getting by, and has no respect for those above him, he cares enough for the people worse off than him, and will sometimes do what he can to help them, even if it's just by putting them in touch with someone who can help them better than he can.
Rather casual in his love life, because he has trouble making emotional attachments to people further than friendship.
He had been attracted to Len from very early on, though after learning that she's a Pureblood, he forced himself to not think about her that way, with limited success. By controlling his physical attraction to her, he slowly started to form an emotional attachment to her, further than their shaky friendship. Much to his initial dismay.
Rents a small apartment with money he gets from gambling. His best friend is a member of the police* and looks out for him when he can. His next best friend works/helps run the nightclub he spends most of his time at. She also helps run the underground blood trade for those suffering from the diminishing rations. Rowe helps her when he can.
Lenora/Len : Pureblood. Physical age approximately late teens early 20's. Actual age, in her 70's. Currently on the run/in hiding. She stopped Rowe from hunting a human which could land him in some serious trouble with the law, by giving him her blood rations for that week. He drank enough to stave off starvation, and loss of control, but he found himself in debt to her for it. Doubly so when he realized that not only was she going to go hungry, she was also homeless. Despite the fact that she didn't really want him to repay her, she accepted his help in the form of letting her stay with him until she finds a place of her own.
She'd planned to keep her identity as a Pureblood secret from him as well, since Pureblood's aren't liked in Infected society, but when a group with a score to settle with Rowe attacks and tries to kill him, she reveals her abilities and attacks and defeats them. While Rowe would have ditched her then and there, he now owed her his very life. So he continues to let her stay with him, and protects her identity as a Pureblood.
As a Pureblood, she can go longer without feeding before losing control so long as she doesn't use her powers. If she does use her powers without feeding, she will eventually lose control. To stave off hunger, she drinks the blood imitations from the club, which is enough to keep the edge off, but doesn't give the same nutrition.
She wore very concealing clothes and a cloak before meeting Rowe's friend at the nightclub who gave her a much needed makeover. She also wore her hair much longer, reaching to her knees. After her makeover she wears more attractive clothes and her hair is cut shorter at the back, with her fringe longer and framing her face.
